Individual obtaining Skilled Nursing services will receive individualized nurse case management which will coordinates and oversee every aspect of your care and recovery with all other disciplines and the physician during your plan of care.

Physical Therapy will assist you in regaining strength, balance, endurance and mobility after surgery or an extended illness. Physical therapists often recommend assistive equipment specific to your needs to function safely in your home and provide education and instruction on the use of these devices.

Occupational Therapy

  • Home and community reintegration

  • Home modification adjustments
  • Adaptive equipment instruction
  • Improve fine motor coordination E
  • Educate the patient about joint protection and energy conservation
  • Prepare patient to resume day-to-day activities

Occupational Therapy will evaluate your work and leisure skills and implement strategies and techniques to develop and restore your ability to perform everyday activities such as eating, bathing and dressing.  If a particular skill and/or strength cannot be developed or improved, occupational therapy offers creative solutions and alternatives for carrying out daily activities

Speech Therapy

  • Intervene in swallowing disorders and assessment treatment
  • Improve receptive and expressive speech and language skills
  • Enhance cognitive language skills

Speech Therapy is for those individuals who have experienced a trauma, surgery or stroke may benefit from the assistance of a speech language pathologist. In your home environment the speech therapist will utilize a variety of retraining and compensatory techniques designed to treat and manage a variety of swallowing, speech, voice, language and cognitive disorders.
